Welcome to villa Flora!

The villa is situated in a village called Icici, Primorsko-goranska županija province, on the Opatija Riviera Kvarner gulf. Icici itself is a former fishing village situated at the bottom of Uchka Mountain.


The climate

The whole coastline of the Opatija Riviera is surrounded by eastern mountainside of Uchka, covered with dense forests that give a unique microclimate. The climate on this coastline is much warmer, than in other areas; that in turn contributes to the growth of subtropical plants among which are palms, japanese camellia, bamboo, rhododendrons, oaks, coastal pine trees, cypresses.


Tourist season

Tourist season continues throughout the year, winter is usually mild, average temperature in January is +6.5 С°. The presence of green trees always pleases the guests.


The peak of the season falls on the period of July – August, in July the average temperature is +25 С°, in August +30-32 С°.

The unique microclimate is very good for health recovery. It is especially useful for people with diseases of musculoskeletal as well as pulmonary and skin illnesses.


Not the least important for health recovery is local air, saturated with essential oils of cypresses and coastal pine trees.


The currency

The official currency in Croatia is Croatian Kuna. The approximate exchange rate is 1 € = 7,5 Kn. The currency can be exchanged in tourist offices, exchange offices and in banks.
